It’s time to roundup family and friends to celebrate Ogden Pioneer Days rodeo, an inductee into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame and winner of the 2022 WPRA Large Rodeo of the Year. An action-packed PRCA event that’s been rated one of the top rodeos in the country, you won’t want to miss this!
We couldn’t be happier to see ya’ll again this year. In 2023, we were so pleased to sell out every night of the rodeo—there wasn’t an empty seat in the house! And we expect record numbers of fans to attend again this year, especially on high-demand nights. So, don’t delay! Get your tickets today to one (or two or three) nights of the Ogden Pioneer Days rodeo.
And, of course, be sure to enjoy all of the great activities available as part of the full Ogden Pioneer Days celebration, including parades, fireworks, concerts, art strolls and much more.

America is the land of the free—because of the brave. Carried atop a racing steed in the middle of Ogden Pioneer Stadium, the American flag ripples like so many ribbons in the wind as Ogden Pioneer Days celebrates the freedoms and rights guaranteed in the United States Constitution and protected by the U.S. Armed Forces. Current members of the military, as well as veterans, are honored for their service and dedication to the ideals we hold dear. Wear your red, white and blue, and be sure to tip our hats in salute to the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard.
Each July, on the National Day of the American Cowboy, cowboys and cowgirls from across the United States are honored for their contributions to promoting and preserving the cowboy way of life. Ogden Pioneer Days continues that tradition by recognizing Utahns from every county who, day by day, honor their western heritages. The honorees are invited into the arena at the start of the rodeo and applauded by the thousands who are at Ogden Pioneer Stadium, one of the top large outdoor rodeos in the PRCA and WPRA.
Ogden Pioneer Days is ready to light up the summer sky with the first performance of the year. Join us at Ogden Pioneer Stadium for an annual event of family fun. We will also honor our dedicated education professionals who do so much to educate and prepare our youth. Hats off to these wonderful people—you make all the difference! And be sure you don’t wait until the last minute to buy your tickets! The historic Ogden Pioneer Stadium, the home of Ogden Pioneer Days since the 1930s, tends to sell out quickly.
As we do each year, let’s kick up our heels for our courageous, hard-working first responders and healthcare professionals. Day-in and day-out, these brave souls carry out the life improving and lifesaving work of their various professions—whether healthcare, law enforcement, fire, search and rescue or otherwise. Their specialized skills ensure the health and well-being of our citizens and communities. We pay forward our deepest gratitude for their ongoing and heroic efforts.
In 1934, at the height of the Great Depression, then-Ogden Mayor Harm Peery launched a summertime celebration to lift the spirits of northern Utah families. That tradition carries on today at Ogden Pioneer Days, which continues to honor the strength of a community that was forged by the heat of railroad steel. Each year, during the week of July 24, downtown Ogden comes alive with not only the spirit of Utah’s unique pioneer heritage, but the spark of future prosperity. Join us each year on the last night of the rodeo for the ride of the summer, a tradition that has withstood the test of time.
