Cinderella Dreams: Star on the Rise Kylie Frey to Take Stage with Mile Marker 6
Much like Shania Twain and Taylor Swift before her, Kylie Frey is the latest eye-catching sing-songwriter to sparkle on the stage like so many diamonds. Frey, who grew up in dusty boots and cowboy hats while competing in Texas rodeos, launched her first album “Cinderella Dreams” in 2014. The title comes from a song on her album by the same name. Kylie says she considers this song “her anthem” and because of this she knew she had to name her album after it. With titles like “Unfinished Business” and “The Chase,” it’s apparent that Frey, even at a young age, has a lot to say — and sing. “These songs are from my experiences,” she says, “they all have a story behind them and they tell little pieces about my life.” Don’t miss seeing this star on the rise. Frey will perform with local country group Mile Marker 6 as part of the events surrounding Ogden Pioneer Days, which culminates with a five-night PRCA rodeo. The country concert, to be held at the Ogden Amphitheater, will be Tuesday, July 19 at 8 p.m.
