As Miss Rodeo Ogden, the modern-day version of the Whoopie Girl, Woolsey will be the face of the Ogden Pioneer Days rodeo and celebration, held each year the week of July 24.
"Holding the title of Miss Rodeo Ogden is not only a great honor but a privilege," Woolsey says. "I have great respect for the industry, people involved and the women before me who have held the title of Miss Rodeo Ogden. Following in their footsteps is a dream come true."
Woolsey's attendants are Quinsee Beach, from West Bountiful, the daughter of Barry Beach and Tracy Jensen, and Ashlie Scott, from Aurora, the daughter of Kelly and Jennifer Quarnberg and Roger Scott.
At the pageant, Woolsey won the appearance, personality and horsemanship awards. Beach won the public speaking, photogenic and congeniality awards.
All three will represent Ogden at the Miss Rodeo Utah pageant, held each year in conjunction with Ogden Pioneer Days. Click here to see Miss Rodeo Utah's Web site.
